It's tax day – and so far Mortgage Bonds are trading near unchanged levels.

In the news, Initial Jobless Claims were reported well above expectations. In addition, the manufacturing sector received some conflicting news as the Empire State Index rose significantly and the Philadelphia Fed Manufacturing Index met expectations, but Industrial Production came in far below analyst predictions.

I recommend floating for now. But be prepared to lock if the situation changes – especially with prices in the midst of a wide trading range and with the increased volatility now that the Fed's safety net is gone
