Mortgage Bonds are higher this morning but have already pulled back from their best levels, while Stocks are starting the day lower in response to Alcoa kicking off earnings season with low revenues.

Also in the news, a survey by the National Federation of Independent Businesses showed that confidence among small businesses fell to the lowest level in eight months. As a result of this negative perception, small businesses may be reluctant to hire any time soon.

I recommend floating for now, since prices are improved from yesterday. But be prepared to lock if the situation changes, especially since Mortgage Bonds face multiple layers of resistance.
